I personally thought the trip was great because I got a lot of "me time" while you guys were all away.
Shannon was so tired when she returned and never spoke for three days other than to tell me it was good and she wants to go back next year. after three days she spoke about nothing else other than the trip and even now she will randomly start laughing and tell me another story.
Thanks to all the adults who made this trip possible and a huge success. Well done all.
I'm sure this will be an undying memory for Shannon and all the rest of the group.

Did everyone enjoy the trip to Aviemore? I thought it was a great success well done to all who were involved in planning and pulling together everything that led to a smooth well run operation. My highlights were the Gorge walking , the rock climbing/ absail ,the Highland games (except the hill race and the 200m relay that Jack beat me in) and the food well done to the cooks also. Other memorable moments include Dorothy and Irene getting locked out their room, Davie Reay looking like a caterpillar rolling about the passageway in his zipped up sleeping bag and of course Andy Fishers bunk dive. Best qoutes of the weekend were Cammy Black "well that wasnt very clever" and " lets all go back to our rooms now" when Dot & Irene were locked out and Andys "every body needs a bit of me time" (you had to be there !!) I think we learned a lot about each other, for example we found out that Andy and Chris cant play poker, that Stevie McLoone cant read a map, that Rebecca lives for choclate, Jack Ross Gerard and Craig cant wash dishes, Alan O'Rourke can cook (me and Stevie Campbell cant) Shannon can do a strange voice /noise and Cammy Black can moan for Scotland. So that is my brief summary of the trip lets hear from the rest of you. I am sure all you kids (and Mathew) have got a few stories that the coaches dont know about so lets hear your best and worst moments.

Cheers

Mick

Could you say hi to Terry Walls from me. Tried to xchange email address at london start but strange - no one had pen and paper to hand. Tell her well done and i finished 1 minute behind her - thanks donna forfar roadrunners

Hi Donna

Well done to you, it was a hard one, the heat took it out of us all. Are youdoing Edinburgh? Thats the next one for me and I have signed up for barcelona next year, must be off my head. THe lochaber picture is under the race reports, you will need to page down to last years reports. There is a copy on the clubhouse notice board which I will take to work and scan and send it to you, its a better copy than the website. Hope to see you again soon, keep up the good work, Terry 0smile

Hello from a former Club Champion 1955/6. It's nice to that the club is still going strong. I have lived South of the border for 45 years but follow your efforts reading the Telegraph online. I do get to Greenock several times a year. Keep up the good work.
